As I sit here, tears dripping down my cheeks, I find it hard to describe Mama’s sincere impact on my life. She was not just my mother-in-law; she embraced me as her biological daughter, showering me with a love I will forever cherish.
I was shocked when I received the news of her demise. It felt as if the ground had been pulled from beneath my feet. We were praying and believing God for healing, but we know we can question God, for He has the final say. Dee Mama was a constant in my life, a source of strength and warmth; the thought of her absence is a heavy weight on my heart.
From the first moment I entered her family, Mama welcomed me with open arms and heart. She made me feel valued, accepted, and deeply loved. Her affection was a warm embrace that wrapped around me, offering comfort and reassurance. I often think of the countless moments we shared, her laughter echoing through the room, her gentle words of encouragement, and how she always seemed to know when I needed support. I can still hear her voice, always so full of love, calling me “Ezinwanyi” whenever I reach out to her on the phone. Those moments felt special, as if she reminded me of my worth and place in her heart. It is these memories that bring both warmth and heartache as I reflect on her absence.
Mama was a woman of unwavering faith and a prayer warrior, deeply rooted in her love for the Church of God. Her prayerful spirit was evident in everything she did, and she believed wholeheartedly in the power of prayer. I felt that power in my own life, knowing that she lifted each family member in her prayers, one by one. She would call out our names with love and devotion, asking for God’s blessings and guidance. Her faith was a source of strength, illuminating our paths even in the darkest times.
She was a gift that kept giving, a source of love, wisdom, and encouragement that enriched our lives. Her unwavering support and love created a foundation that allowed us to thrive. In moments of joy and times of sorrow, she was the one we turned to, the one who kept us grounded. Her strength was a source of comfort, and her wisdom guided us through life’s challenges.
Mama was a philanthropist,” Nnemuruora,” dedicating her life to helping others. She had a heart of gold, always striving to make everyone happy and comfortable. Her generosity knew no bounds, and she taught her family the importance of giving back. Whether providing meals for those in need or supporting community initiatives, she did it all gracefully and with compassion.
We, your family, will miss you, Mama. The Church of God will miss you, and the whole community will miss you. Thank you for loving me as your own and for being a beacon of light in my life. Your impact is immeasurable. The tears may flow as I write this tribute, but they are also a testament to my deep love and gratitude for having had you in my life. Your legacy of faith, hospitality, and unwavering support will forever be in my heart. Your dedication to praying for each family member was a sincere gift that will remain a cherished part of our lives.
While the pain of your absence is immense, I find solace in knowing you are now at peace, reunited with your Maker, and free from earthly burdens. Your legacy of kindness, compassion, and unwavering support will forever be in my heart.
May you sing with the angels, Mama!
Rest in eternal peace, Mama!
