Farewell, dear Sister, a remarkable Soul! By Amaka Obochi

It’s hard, very hard to find the words to say goodbye to Sister Oge. She meant so much to me … Each time I pick up  my pen,  I drop it as words doesn’t come easily . How do one sum up the life so full of love and compassion?

She had a heart that overflowed with generosity, always giving and giving ,without expecting anything in return. Whether it was her time, her wisdom, or just a warm smile, she gave freely, making those around her feel loved and valued. Her spirit was one of gentleness and understanding, always seeking to bring people together and resolve conflicts with grace and compassion.

More than anything, she was a peacemaker. In moments of tension, she was the one who calmed the storm, reminding us all of the power of unity and forgiveness. Her presence brought a sense of calm and comfort to our family, and her absence leaves a void that cannot be filled.

She had a way of making everyone around her feel special, with her quiet strength and endless compassion. Her warmth was a beacon that drew people in, and her care for others was as natural as breathing. She lived a life of selflessness, and she did it all with grace and smile that radiated love.

Though she is no longer with us, the love and peace she spread will continue to live on in our hearts. The memory of her will be our guide, reminding us always to love a little more, give a little more, and live with compassion. We will miss her deeply, but we know she is resting in peace, watching over us with that same loving spirit and smile that touched so many lives.

Rest in peace, dear Sister. Your light will never fade from our hearts.
