A TRIBUTE TO MY FRIEND AND SISTER By Obute Roseline

I am not sure how to do this. Like, how can I try and describe someone so special in plain words? How can I sum up the memories I have with mama Chinedu in one tribute? It’s never possible. You are a sister that I shared dreams and hopes with, thereby creating a treasure trove of memories that I will hold dear for all eternity.

A friendship that flourished into something even more beautiful _ a bond that passed beyond mere friendship and became an unbreakable sisterhood. Together we laughed until our stomachs hurt, cried until our tears ran dry. We shared our deepest fears, dreams and hopes without judgement or reservations and supported each other through thick and thin.

As I reminisce on the moments we shared together in church, school and home, I am filled with gratitude for the gift of your friendship and the blessing of being your sister _ a true sister, a confidant and a friend. I still hear your voice as you call me ”mama Uju” and your laughter still echoes in my heart.

Rest in peace Mama Chinedu

Rest in peace Aguru uche onu

Rest in peace dearest sister

Your presence will be deeply missed but not forgotten.
