Today, with heavy hearts, we gather to honor and celebrate the life of our dear sister, who departed from this world far too soon. Though her time with us was shorter than we ever could have imagined, the impact she made on all our lives will endure forever.
Oge (Mama Chinedu) was a woman of deep wisdom, far beyond her years, and a devout Christian whose faith in the Lord was steadfast and unshakable. Her life was a testament to her unwavering belief in God’s goodness and grace, and she lived each day with a heart full of love, compassion, and generosity.
She leaves behind a loving and doting husband, six wonderful children and numerous grandchildren, all of whom were the center of her world. Her immediate and extended family was her pride and joy, and she devoted herself entirely to nurturing and guiding them with a gentle hand and a wise heart. She was a beacon of light in all our lives, a source of comfort, encouragement, and strength. Her love knew no bounds, and her legacy will live on through the values she instilled in of us.
Though we mourn her passing, we find comfort in knowing that she is now with the Lord, embraced by His eternal love and peace. We believe that she has taken her place among the angels, watching over her beloved family with the same care and devotion that defined her life. As a guardian angel, she continues to guide and protect us, her spirit ever-present in our hearts.
In the quiet moments of our lives, when we feel her absence most deeply, we will remember her gentle voice, her wise counsel, and her unwavering faith. We will honor her memory by living lives of faith, love, and kindness, just as she did. Her spirit will continue to inspire us to be better, to love more deeply, and to trust in God’s plan for us.
Though she has gone to be with the Lord, we know that she is never truly gone. Her love, her wisdom, and her faith live on in each of us. We take solace in the promise of eternal life and the hope that we will be reunited with her one day in the presence of our Savior.
Rest in peace, Oge, Mama Chinedu. You have run your race with grace and faith, and you are now home with the Lord. We miss you dearly, but we know that ogechukwu ka mma and that you are watching over us, a guardian angel guiding us with love from above. Until we meet again, we will carry your memory in our hearts, living each day in a way that honors the incredible person you were. Rest in peace, Mama Chinedu!
With love and in faith,
Your brother, Modestus (on behalf of Crystal, Tobe and Kevin)
